2010 Food and Gift Drive(dates to be announced)

The Annual GBF food and gift drive for the Christmas Hamper Program begins approximately the third week of November and runs to mid December and is spearheaded by the Grimsby Firefighters.

Donation bags are distributed by the Grimsby Firefighters in the local paper.  The firefighters collect non perishable donations of food and gifts along the Santa Claus parade route on the first Saturday in December.  Donations to the Christmas Hamper program can be made directly at the Grimsby Fire Station after that date.

Community members may also donate through their churches, schools, local businesses and service organizations. To see what local events are happening in support of the Christmas hamper program, please click here

Once all hampers are delivered, remaining food and gift items are returned to the GBF Foodbank to help families requiring food assistance throughout the year.
